Water clarity will be more murky and you will loose spawning habitat for native species.

Now I will never purposefully harm or kill a carp, but those that do will be adding needed biomass to the local ecosystem. One of the locals I fish have a plentiful supply of carp and with the increasing amount of bow hunting going on in that particular lake, the large population of eagles, osprey and raccoons in that area are eating well.

I do wish the fish would be dispatched appropriately though.Steelie Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17814328272439361994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7051170730268082083.post-26444743238174432232010-05-17T11:57:53.611-07:002010-05-17T11:57:53.611-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Steelie Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17814328272439361994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7051170730268082083.post-14919919874095562122010-05-17T08:24:14.586-07:002010-05-17T08:24:14.586-07:00Honestly... Carp are a long lived species that have taken over many lakes, rivers and even several trout streams in eastern washington. I am a proud carp killer, and dispatch them quickly. I hate carp.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7051170730268082083.post-70735621616785732082010-05-17T06:40:03.096-07:002010-05-17T06:40:03.096-07:00Very sad.
